Dr. Seema Naxane (Gavali) is the first lady Interventional Cardiologist of North Maharashtra and is one of the Top rated Senior Cardiologist in the Nashik City. She hails from a small town Sinnar in Nashik District, Maharashtra.She completed her school education at Janata Vidyalaya ,Sinnar. Always a bright student from early childhood she went on to persue MBBS from Seth G.S Medical College and KEM HOSPITAL Mumbai. Later she specialised in Internal medicine ( MD Medicine) from Grant Medical College and Sir J.J.Group of Hospitals in Mumbai. She then completed her cardiology training ( DM cardiology) from the prestigious department of cardiology at KEM HOSPITAL Mumbai in 2013 and worked there for an additional year when she gained vast experience in the field of cardiology including Interventional Cardiology. She worked as Assistant professor in the Department of Cardiology at SBKS Medical College and Sumandeep Vidyapeeth at Vadodara for 4 years. She worked at Wockhardt Hospital, Nashik as Consultant Interventional Cardiologist for two years. Currently she is Director at Premier Heart and Kidney Care Clinic and is attached to Ashoka Medicover Hospital,Sahyadri Hospital, and Wockhardt Hospital,Nashik as a visiting Consultant Interventional cardiologist.
Over a period of last 10 years she has performed a large number of Coronary Angiographies and Coronary Angioplasties ,both simple and complex including primary angioplasty during an acute heart attack via both radial and femoral routes. She also carries expertise in performing Balloon valvuloplasties, Permanent Pacemaker Insertion and device closures for ‘Holes in the Heart’. She has special interest in paediatric cardiology with vast experience in Neonatal and Paediatric Echocardiography and she is well versed with paediatric interventions.
